Allison BaroskoAllison Barosko, Project Manager

Allison is the project manager for Franklin Center. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration from Northwestern University. She has extensive experience managing payroll, benefits, and HRIS from positions at MacPhail, Caribou Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Macalester. She has volunteered in the Children’s Minnesota Families As Partners program for over 10 years. Her long-term assignments have included serving on the Patient and Family Education Council and serving on a quality improvement team for the NICU, dedicated to improving the outcomes of premature infants through increased parent participation.

blankCourtney Berthiaume, Human Resources and Administrative Coordinator

Courtney obtained her undergraduate degree at Minnesota State University – Mankato as a Special Education Academic and Behavioral Specialist for students K-12. She began teaching at Franklin Center in 2018 in the High School before quickly moving into our Lower School. After 6 years of teaching, Courtney transitioned into a new role within our community in the Human Resources Department. Courtney is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our organization in a different capacity, and to continue learning and growing with Franklin. In her free time, Courtney enjoys teaching competitive dance and spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Georgette BentonGeorgette Benton, Facilities and Technology Manager

Georgette is the Facilities and Technology Manager at Franklin Center. She has been with Franklin Center since 2013. In her role, she manages all the technology as well as facilities management.

 

 

blankDrew Coursin, Development Director

Drew is the Development Director at Franklin Center. He is a relationship-focused leader with a rich background in fundraising and communications, having served as a legal advisor to entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. Drew has a passion for philanthropy, founding a comprehensive nonprofit services consultancy and sharing his expertise as an author and presenter on current trends in the field. Beyond his professional achievements, Drew is a dedicated volunteer, mentor, and board member. When not in the nonprofit world, Drew enjoys the great outdoors, savoring coffee, baking, and wrangling his twin toddlers!

blankJoe DeMarsh, Janitor

Joe keeps our school running smoothly by providing cleaning, upkeep, and security, and by taking care of our students and staff’s needs. He partners with high school students who gain custodial experience through in-school jobs. Joe came to Franklin Center after working as a custodian at St. Stephen’s Catholic School in Anoka for 10 years. Prior to that, Joe worked in maintenance.

blankTerese Fasbender, Development Manager

Terese is the Development Manager at Franklin Center. With years of experience in several community-building nonprofits, Terese has spearheaded many impactful initiatives, cultivated strong partnerships, and mobilized resources to address pressing needs in our community. She is passionate about community empowerment, inclusion, and accessibility. Outside of work, she serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of One Voice Mixed Chorus and co-chairs their Development Committee. 

 

Paul GloudemansPaul Gloudemans, Admissions Director

Paul is the Admissions Director at Franklin Center. He graduated with a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. After many years of working in marketing roles for large corporations, such as Best Buy and LifeTime Fitness, he decided to pursue a career in education. Paul received his teaching certification from the University of St. Thomas and spent a few years in the classroom prior to transitioning into an admissions role at Franklin Center.

 

 

Chloe HerzogChloe Herzog, Enrichment Program Manager

Chloe is the Enrichment Program Manager for Franklin Center. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a minor in Technical Writing. Prior to Franklin Center, Chloe worked as a Communications Assistant at the Institute of Child Development and was a Teacher Assistant at Step-by-Step Montessori. In her free time, Chloe enjoys camping, biking, and spending time with loved ones.

Tate is a Janitor Associate for Franklin Center. Prior to this job, he was a student at Franklin Academy, and is excited to help clean and take care of the building. When not at work, he enjoys watching YouTube, biking, going for walks, and cheering on the Minnesota Wild.

Veda NademVeda Nadem, Bookkeeper

Veda is the Bookkeeper at Franklin Center. Previously, she worked at United Nations Office for Project Services as a Project Support Officer, handling World Bank grant budgets, financial reports, audits, and other project-related tasks. Veda has eight years of experience in Finance and Project Management. She received her Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Peshawar in Pakistan.

 

blankCary Puckett, Building Maintenance Tech

As our Maintenance Tech, Cary takes on general repairs, plumbing, electrical repair, groundskeeping, and other maintenance projects around our facility. His previous experience includes similar roles at Fraser and with Minneapolis Public Schools. Cary and his wife wer foster parents for children ages of 0-5 for 11 years.
In his spare time, Cary likes to watch football and basketball, and go fishing when he has a chance.  He also enjoys traveling with his wife.

Karla is the Human Relations Manager at Franklin Center. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI. Karla has over 15 years of experience in client satisfaction, management, human resources, and small business operations. She has been a part of Franklin Center for over 7 years, working in both HR and Franklin Therapy.

Kim the Executive Director of Franklin Center. She has over 20 years of experience in advertising, marketing strategy, and client services from positions at Fallon, Cargill and Food IQ. Kim earned her MBA in marketing from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a B.A. from Skidmore College. She has two children, one in high school at Franklin Academy, and another at the University of North Carolina.

blankMolly Tellijohn, Vice President of Finance and Operations

Molly is the VP of Finance and Operations at Franklin Center. She comes to the Franklin Center bringing a strong knowledge of accounting and non-profits and was most recently a CFO at a non-profit in the south metro. She graduated with a B.A. in accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Michelle WilliamsMichelle Williams, Grant Writer

Michelle is the Grant Writer at Franklin Center. She earned a B.A. in English from Georgetown University and holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to making the shift to Advancement, she was an English teacher and Department Chair at independent schools in the South. Her greatest job, however, is as the parent of a Franklin Academy student.

Sara is the Receptionist at Franklin Center. She has a BA in Elementary Education and a MS in Reading and Literacy. After taking some time off from a fulfilling teaching career, Sara is excited to contribute to the Franklin Center community by welcoming students, parents and staff. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and reading a good book!
