Steps in the Process
- 1. Determine if Capstone is a good fit. Students who succeed in Capstone are:
- 18-28 years old
- You have to want to be here and want to grow
- And we have to think we can help you
- No recent (2 years) history of physical or verbal aggression
- No recent (2 years) issues with elopement
- Independence with basic self-care and movement about community
- Relatively calm demeanor
- Foundational communication and literacy skills

4. Submit an inquiry via here
5. Within the Veracross system, fill out the application and upload the following documents:
- Latest IEP and most recent comprehensive assessment OR psychological-educational evaluation*
- School transcripts*
- Completed Release of Information Form
* = does not apply to current Franklin Academy families
After uploading all the necessary admissions documents into Veracross, our team will conduct a comprehensive review and then coordinate a tour and meeting/interview with our staff to further discuss our program. Following this meeting/interview, a shadow day opportunity may be offered. If we determine that Franklin Capstone is a suitable match, an offer of admissions will be presented.
Every student who is admitted must have a completed medical examination and immunization report.
